Sonya Lovell is an experienced speaker, podcaster and menopause advocate.

In 2017, Sonya was diagnosed with Breast Cancer thrusting her into a whirlwind of surgeries, chemotherapy, radiotherapy, induced menopause and hormone therapy. All in the space of 7 months and at the age of 47.

Sonya leans into her lived experience to spark conversations that inspire and motivate. Not shying away from topics that are risky or taboo, Sonya advocates for menopause awareness in the workplace, for women in leadership and empowers all women to have brave conversations.

In the first year of launching her podcast, Dear Menopause, Sonya was a finalist in the ROAR Success "Podcast of the Year" Awards and the AusMumpreneur "One To Watch" Awards. And she was a guest on ABC Breakfast News to speak on the topic of lost earnings and superannuation by women as a result of menopause.
